Caroline Wachsmuth

Caroline started her career as a journalist (art, wellness, psychology, art of living). She pioneered the green beauty movement and her brand Doux me, as well as her beautyroom salon in Le Marais, got huge international press and a cult-like following of devoted fans and celebrities. Caroline successfully sold the business after more than a decade-long tenure.
She then published 3 editions of “Seasons” – a DIY beauty and art book – while also creating for select brands like L’Artisan Parfumeur, high-profile designers and private clients. Hired by Credo Beauty founder Shashi Batra, she brought her vision and expertise to his natural beauty store concept and by her world renowned friend make up artist Violette_fr, to come up with her fragrance and skincare line in 2021. Caroline also launched the “Friends Collection”, custom made beauty and fragrance products for her entourage, such as French actress and singer Cécile Cassel, aka Hollysiz, followed by Egypto-Italian model, actress and UN ambassador Elisa Sednaoui, as well as Belgian jewelry designer Catherine Michiels.
Her lifelong study of holistic wellness began in 1997, when she started studying the art of aromatherapy, massage therapy, yoga, and reiki. Her work as a beauty and wellness journalist, massage therapist, aromatherapist, product creator and wellness visionary eventually led her to become the recognised beauty eco-preneur she is today. Caroline lived and worked on 3 continents and 15 cities, and is currently based between Geneva, Paris and Cape Town. You can also find her in San Francisco or Maui, always creating something new, or guiding artists entrepreneurs to come up with their own product collections. She regularly shares her wellness intel via health and lifestyle magazines, on her personal website or Instagram.
